齿轮油泵是一种容积式内齿轮泵。由于其结构简单、噪音低、供油稳定、自吸性能好等高速特性，在低压液压系统中得到了广泛的应用。可作为动力泵或润滑泵使用。该泵适用于输送各种油。
双作用双联泵原理：当电机带动转子沿转动时，叶片在离心力和叶片底部压力油的双重作用下向外伸出，其顶部紧贴在定子内表面上。处于四段同心圆弧上的四个叶片分别与转子外表面、定子内表面及两个配流盘组成四个密封工作油腔。这些油腔随着转子的转动，密封工作油腔产生由小到大或由大到小的变化，可以通过配流盘的吸油窗口（与吸油口相连）或排油窗口（与排油口相连）将油液吸入或压出。在转子每转过程中，每个工作油腔完成两次吸油和压油，所以称为双作用式叶片泵，由于高低压腔相互对称对称，轴受力平衡，为卸荷式。
